As soon as you lay eyes on Survival Instinx, you start picturing it as sports logos. It’s like a reflex you can’t help. But this slab serif font can be even more helpful as videogame logos, DVD rental signs, and movie posters.
Before jumping to any conclusion, see if you’re okay with the lack of lowercase, and then you can go for it. After all, it’s so hard to say no to such a bold font with such a sturdy character.
