You should totally base your text on pixels for some additional artistic touch in your lettering, especially if you want your words to pay their respect to both the modern era and good old times simultaneously.
The emphasis will mostly be on sounding technological, though. What can you say, square fonts are pretty famous that way. Think of it as a method to design a game or an internet security logo, and some other tech-based project. We’re telling you, it works.
